Rivera Finger Puppet
Legendary Mexican muralist Diego Rivera showed artistic promise from childhood. He received a scholarship to the prestigious Academia de San Carlos in México City and a grant to study in Europe, where he befriended many influential painters, including Picasso.
Rivera returned to Mexico and became an important an influential painter, as well as a founder of the Mexican Muralist movement. his art represented the lives of the Mexican people and exalted the nation's pre-Columbian cultures.
He also managed to win the heart of Frida Kahlo, whom he married (twice!)
